Approximately how much inventory (in dollars) does one need to start a sports card - memorabilia business p.t.?

Part time like a second income. I know 1 piece of memorabilia can cost hundreds of thousands, but generally speaking. 10k or more? And what's a good way to start, from home, shows, internet, strip mall, etc. thanks
