I kinda like him but.....?

Ok, so I do this sport with this boy in high school. Im almost in high school too. im really good at this sport so i usually swimm with all the highschool boys. I kinda like him. Well.......Yeah I like him. but i know nothing (seriously nothing) about him at all. Im too fricking scared to even talk to him. IT'S KILLING ME!!!!!!!!! I know i probley wont be able to ever date him or anything, but i need detailed ideas on how to at least become his friend. I guess im invisable to him, but not in a bad way he just doesnt really pay attention to me and so I need some really good advice on how we can at least become friends I guess. thanks :):)
