What is there to do in Salem, Oregon?

There really isn't too much, but the nature is great. There are a lot of trails outside of Salem, like Silver Creek, and others. Also, if you go to Bush Park, there's stuff going on there a lot, whether its soap box derbies or running clubs. Also, there is the Willamette Triathlon Club, if you're into that and the Salem Boat Club is behind the Eola Inn on Hwy 22 in the summers. In the winter time there is an indoor soccer club that meets in Keizer and 24 hour fitness over on lancaster is running a 24/month special right now, so it's not as bad as the others in the area (namely courthouse which I am cancelling my membership to), there is a lot around here, though, you just have to look. Gallaghers has a lot of the clubs posting with them, so check out there, too.
