Hashimoto’s disease what is it and can it cause pain in my muscles?

on those readings (if accurate) you would need 150mcg thyroxine in divided or time release form (forget synthroid and armour) just use generic synthetic T4 (levothyroxine) with 20-40 mcg T3 (triiodothyronine like cytomel) also time release , you don't get hashimoto's from radio iodine treatment as the thyroid has been destroyed you just become severely hypothyroid, your body cannot use any naturally derived thyroxine because of the antibodies and even some synthetic may not work, if you have thickened cracking skin and flaky rashes you have a large T3 deficiency due to the conversion from T4 to T3 being ineffective or incomplete, your first endo sounds like a moron he should have put you on an antithyroid drug first like propylthiouracil, you MUST take these drugs on an empty stomach and must NOT take any antacids either side for two hours they must also be taken at the same time of day each day
