Did you try Magnesium Citrate? You can get this at any pharmacy. Drink it per the instructions for bowel cleansing before surgery - not just as a laxative. If you do not have a bowel movement after that you may have something more serious going on like obstipation (severe constipation) or a bowel obstruction. Also, if you are running a fever or having pain, you should be seen immediately by a physician or ER.
